The wheel of the year is a calendar based on ancient Celtic and Germanic festivals that celebrated our connection with nature. The calendar revolves around eight points in the year, each one signalling a shift in the season, weather, and the natural world around us. The purpose of this calendar is to connect with nature and its cycles. Celebrating these seasonal shifts is intended to help us to deepen our connection to nature and our awareness of the seasons and the earth.
I have put together 8 workshops at each point of the wheel to honour and celebrate the seasonal cycles. They are a range of different workshops - some are creative, some are practical, all of them are meditative, designed to be in tune with the season and in step with nature.
